Kayaking
Kayaking adventures are without a doubt the most active, fun and environmentally sustainable way that we can choose to explore a coastal landscape as beautiful as the south of Gran Canaria.
Completely connected with the nature that surrounds you, you will embark on this journey with Mireie and Víctor, two local guides with plenty experience in outdoor activities and extensive knowledge of their island.
You don’t like big groups and generalized service? Perfect – because here you will join an activity that is designed in all aspects to share the day with a personal and friendly treatment. Departing from the Arguineguín coastline, you can spend an entire morning discovering the hidden coves, archaeological sites and volcanic caves of the South in a comfortable double kayak, with a maximum group of 8 people.
The guides will be happy to share their knowledge about the endemic fauna and flora of the islands, the history of the place, its secrets and legends.
After about 70 minutes paddling your kayak through the Atlantic Ocean, you will take a break on a secluded beach in Montaña Arena, where you can relax in the sun with a picnic of fresh fruits, chocolates, cookies and water. If there is still some energy left then this time can also be spent with discovering the underwater world with snorkelling kit included or with beach games such as ping-pong and frisbee.
This activity requires for the participants know how to swim before going out on kayaks. It is suitable for children from 6 years of age, provided they are accompanied by an adult and also includes a big variety of photos taken of your experience that you can download as a memory to take with you.
An absolute adventure day, guided by local experts in a friendly atmosphere is the best way to get much closer to the natural side of Gran Canaria and its most impressive landscapes.
Transfer included in the south areas (subject to availability): Arguineguín – Bahía Feliz.
